Every fortnight, the Cool Rise Team comes into our studio and takes us for some different activities – like Beebots, Art, and Mindfulness.

In one of our sessions, we talked about mindful breathing, slow breathing to blow our worries away! We practised slow breathing by blowing bubbles, and then we made giant bubbles. Here are some of the giant bubbles we made – they were amazing!

  1. Kia ora tamariki,
Wow, blowing bubbles is so much fun isn’t it? It looks like some of those bubbles were really big, was it tricky to form the bubbles using those sticks and the string?
I practise mindful breathing and find it’s a great way to breathe my worries away. Perhaps I should make some bubble mixture and give this a go at home.
Thanks for sharing, ngā mihi, Kathy.

  2. Wow, Papatūānuku, it looks like you were having a great time outside with Islay for CRT. I’m glad I got to see the pictures, those bubbles are HUGE! It looks like it would be tricky to make bubbles that big. What was the hardest part when you were making them? Let me know next time you see me.
    Ngā mihi Caroline
