Trees in our Papa whakaari

This term for Inquiry we have been learning about the New Zealand native trees planted in our Papa whakaari. After learning about the different plants we picked one to focus on and learnt more about what makes it special and how to be a kaitiaki of it. All of us were put into a group. We chose between making a poster or a card game in these groups. Here are our amazing results. Thank you to all the whānau who came and checked these out during our Day of Action on Friday.

Congratulations Amy

Last week we took a moment to acknowledge the huge amount of work Amy has done over the last two years in completing her full teaching registration! Koha in Ata Hapara also completed her full registration. The school put on cake and we all celebrated with Amy throughout the day. Thank you Amy for all the hard work you have put into teaching Papatūānuku this year! We appreciate you!
