Last Thursday Papatūānuku were Mad Scientists! We all got to have a go at 7 different different science experiments. The highlight of the day was the elephant toothpaste. We all loved watching it EXPLODE! We are looking forward to doing some more science this term! Check out our pictures from the day!

  1. Kia ora Papatūānuku,

Wow, it looks like you all had an amazing time being mad scientists! I’ve never made elephant toothpaste before, so I’d love to hear all about how you did it next time we meet. I had so much fun with you all creating the dancing raisins experiment we did last term. Next time I’d love to hear the details of each experiment you did. I can’t wait to see what fun adventures you’ll have next! What was your favourite part of mad scientist day? Was it Brogan’s fabulous hair?

  2. Kia ora Caroline,

Some of Papatūānuku here. We would love to tell you all about the elephant toothpaste experiment. We remember doing the dancing raisins with you, it was so much fun. The raisins were so funny when they moved up and down and looked like bongos. We have done lots of science science then. We loved the coke and mentos, lava lamps, bubbles. erupting apples, hair dryers, popcorn, sherbet, jelly, fizzing ice cubes, dry ice, raro and ice hands. And we can’t wait for you to see our secret projects.

    Ka kite anō
